Gaby Cairo’s team brought the King’s Cup title to the Museum

The entire squad, the manager and his assistant made the trip from the Palau to the Museum with their roller skates
This Wednesday it will be the futsal team’s turn to bring their trophy to the Museum after they won the Spanish Cup in Logroño
This Monday, the FC Barcelona roller hockey team, led by Gaby Cairo and Beto Borregán, brought the King’s Cup title, which was won in Vilanova i la Geltrú against Noia Freixent (2-3) on March 4th, to the Josep Lluís Núñez Museum.
Original handoff
The director of the Josep Lluís Núñez Museum, Jordi Penas, awaited the Barça squad which was due to arrive at 13:30 in the afternoon. Tourists and visitors were delighted when they heard the sound of roller skates throughout the building as the team rolled into the Museum wearing their match equipment. Once inside, Gaby Cairo was the man in charge of putting the title which was won earlier this month into the trophy cabinet.
Cairo, proud of the initiative
“This is how we get around and after talking about it with the director of the Museum, Jordi Penas, it seemed like an original way of bringing the trophy in, we hope it isn’t the last,” said the FC Barcelona manager after installing the Cup in the Museum.
